WHAT'S NEW

True Story: (1 min. read) A fellow agent had an appointment with a young man of 21 years of age to enroll him in the policies of his choosing. As he began going over the policy information, it was clear that he was not only intrigued but excited! As the agent continued the process, the young man's mother yelled from the kitchen " You don't need that, you already have Gerber". Despite his mother's outburst, he decided to move forward with the purchase and asked the agent to meet with him the next Tuesday.

He didn't make it to Tuesday because he was murdered in a store parking lot. His mother called the agent to see if he had actually moved forward to purchase the policies he discussed; the Gerber policy she purchased had lapsed, leaving her son not covered and them in a hole of worry and strife, for they had no money for his funeral.
